American jazz and contemporary vocalist Cara Dineen performed extensively throughout the NYC-metro area from 2012-2020, as solo vocalist, founder, band manager, booking agent, and musical/creative director for her bands: BELLATONIC (jazz/pop), The Brooklyn Sugar Stompers (traditional jazz & blues 1920’s-1930’s), and her original music project ANAAM. After graduating Summa Cum Laude and obtaining her B.M. in vocal performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston, she moved to New York where she and her bands were selected to perform for a multitude of high-profile event clients including: SpaceX, Coco Chanel, GQ Magazine, and the NYC Viennese Opera Ball, among many others.

 

Since 2017, Ms. Dineen has performed internationally as solo vocalist and M.C. for celebrated American tap-dance group The Tap Factor. Under the moniker “ANAAM,” 

Ms. Dineen creates solo-vocal improvisations with a loop/effects pedal and writes multi-layered electro-acoustic and vocal compositions.  Currently, Ms. Dineen teaches jazz/contemporary voice and songwriting at Lindenwood University outside of St. Louis, Missouri, and is working towards Alexander Technique Teacher Certification through the Balance Arts Center, New York, NY.
